Middle School East Girls Soccer Information

Practice and events: The first day of practice is Tuesday, September 6th. Practices are held at East Monday through Thursday from after school until 5:00. Please pick up your student at East by 5:15 each night at the east soccer fields. Games are also held at Middle School East.

Sports Physical: Players need to have a sports physical on file in activities office. Sports physicals are valid for three years. You need to have a sports physical on file in order to register through SchoolSmartK12 on ParentVue.
Registration: Registration will open online on July 18th. Registration information will be emailed to parents and guardians at that time. The activity fee is $187.50. If your family is on the reduced or free lunch plan, your fee is lower. The system should tell you how much you have to pay according to your lunch account status. If you think there is an error with the fee, please contact the MSE Activities Director at (763) 497-2655 ext. 3003. Make sure your child has an active physical on file with the activities office or the system will not allow you to register.

Behavior: As an athlete for Middle School East, our athletes are ambassadors of our school. As an ambassador of our school, we expect our athletes’ behavior to be exceptional. We want our athletes to be positive role models for others to see and follow.
Important Policies to remember:
- Students need to be passing all of their classes to be on the soccer team. The MSE activities director will check to see if players are passing all of their classes at mid-tri.
- Students need to be in class five full periods of the day in order to practice or compete that night. Students with a doctor’s appointment may be excused from this requirement if they have documentation from the doctor referencing the appointment. Make sure to bring this note from the doctor to MSE attendance secretary Ms. Bergen.
- Your coaches will expect the players to be at practice every day.
- Missed practices may result in reduced playing time.
Clothes: Make sure to have warm clothes in your locker at all times. There will be some very cold days in the fall, dress smart.

Girls Soccer Highlights from October 18th against BuffaloGirls Soccer A-Team finished out their season undefeated after a 3-1 win against Buffalo. Goals by Delaney J, Kenna G and Nora F. The girls finished their season with 57 total goals, and were only scored on 3 times. Great season Girls!Girls Soccer B-Team finished out their season on a high note, beating Buffalo 4-0, and keeping an over all winning record. All four goals by Jayla S. Great season girls!

Girls Soccer Highlights from October 17th against Becker
Girl's Soccer A-Team played a great match against Becker coming out with a 5-1 win, and blowing their goal of 50 goals by the end of the season out of the water. They go into their last match undefeated. Goals by Anya R., Stella F., Kenna G., and two goals by Camille I. Amazing defending by McKenna B.Girl's Soccer B-Team played their best game of the season coming out with a 3-1 win over Becker. Hat-trick by Jayla S. Rebecca S. as MVP. -
Girls Soccer Highlights from October 13th against Cambridge-IsantiGirl's Soccer B-Team played a great game with a lot of intensity against Cambridge-Isanti. They possessed almost the entire game, with great teamwork and ball control. Josie K was amazing in goal.Girl's Soccer A-Team had a hard fought 4-0 win against Cambridge-Isanti. With goals by Nora F, Stella F, Rhea B, and Molly B assisted by Addison W. Amazing PK save by Paola H. A-Team continues on the season undefeated.

Girls Soccer Highlights from October 6th against PrincetonGirls Soccer A-Team played a great game against Princeton, coming out with an 11-0 win to continue the undefeated season. Goals by Camille I., Anya R., Zayda N., Courtney D., Kendall R., Brooklynn B., two goals by Jayla S., and a hat-trick from Stella F. Kendall R. came out of the game as MVP.

Girls Soccer Highlights from October 4th at BuffaloThe Girl's Soccer A-Team played a fantastic game in Buffalo, winning 6-0 to continue on with the season undefeated. Goals by Zayda N., Kendall R., Brooklynn B., Molly B., and two goals by Anya R. Great defending by Lily R. Courtney D was voted MVP for the game and had an amazing act of sportsmanship on the field!

Girls Soccer Highlights from September 27th at Cambridge-IsantiGirls Soccer played at Cambridge-Isanti last night. The B team tied 1 - 1. Kendall T. scored the goal for the team. Olivia P. was superb. Solid & reliable defending throughout the whole game and showed excellent communication with her teammates.

Middle School Girls Soccer Highlights from 9/20 against PrincetonGirls Soccer played Princeton last night and the B Team won 6 - 0. Goal scorers were Jayla S. x2, Kendall T. x2, Maddison S. x1, Rebecca S. x1. Our goalkeepers touched the ball once in the whole game. All the defenders did a great job preventing Princeton getting in on goal. Josie K. showed high energy and intensity levels when tackling and pressuring opposing players.
