Good morning!! It’s Wednesday, February 24th, and it is an In Person day for all students.

Volleyball registration is now open for 7th and 8th graders. The season will start on March 15th and run through April 15th.

The East Boys Basketball A squad defeated Buffalo 45-31. Mukandas A. iced the game with a clutch free throw and 3 steals in the final two minutes of the game.The East Boys Basketball B team came out against Buffalo Tuesday night, and although they lost the game, they won in many other ways. Each of the boys wore a purple ribbon on their socks to honor and show respect for those affected by the Buffalo Allina Clinic shooting two weeks ago. They showed respect, honor, and support toward a grieving community.

The 7th grade boys basketball team took on Buffalo Tuesday night and came away with a split. The A team won 37-28 behind a balanced scoring attack with 9 players contributing in the scoring column, Mason V. led the way for the Knights with 13 pts. Brendan H. and AJ H. had 5 pts apiece. Titus S. had 4 pts. Rowan A., Lane J., Drew D., Trey G. and Ethan J. all had 2 pts each. The B team came up on the short end of the scoreboard in their game and lost 42-23. John S. led the team with 11 pts. Jonathan L. had 4 pts. Tyler R. and Connor M. had 3 pts each and Gavin B. had 2 pts. The next game on the Knights schedule is home against Buffalo on Thursday.

Attention Boys Basketball players: please change in the locker rooms after school today and head to the cafeteria for a meeting to start practice. Please sit four to a table every other seat with boys on your team.

The free lunch comes with 1 milk. If a student wants more than 1 milk please give the cashier your name and lunch #. The charge is $.50. Also, if you have cold lunch, you have to purchase your milk through the cashier as well. Milk by itself is not free.

The hot lunch option is a chicken patty on a bun, sweet potato crinkle fries, steamed carrots, and hot apple slices. The cold lunch option is a bit size turkey, cheese, and crackers bento box with fresh broccoli and a strawberry cup. Both lunch lines will offer the same options, and lunches are free for all enrolled students. There are no seconds offered at this time.

We will be out front for recess today. B Team eats lunch first, and A Team goes to recess first in the lot farthest from the cafeteria using the doors between the 6th and 7th grade pods.
