Thursday, February 25

Good morning!!  It’s Thursday, February 25th, and it is an In Person day for all students.

Video Announcements

  • Volleyball registration is now open for 7th and 8th graders. The season will start on March 15th and run through April 15th.

  • Attention Boys Basketball players: please change in the locker rooms after school today before catching the bus to West at 3:20pm from the phy ed hallway doors. Good luck against Buffalo tonight!

  • It is time to make cafeteria seating changes for trimester three. During SEL today or tomorrow, please complete the cafeteria seating requests form posted in the attendance Google Classroom. This form is the same as the one many of you filled out earlier this year. Please fill it out again for trimester three now that you know what lunches are like and may have a better idea of the people you would like to sit with at lunch.

    • If you have an ALB teacher for SEL, choose your science teacher when filling out the form.

    • Please only include students in your SEL group (or science if you have an ALB SEL) in your choices for people to sit with.

    • Please complete the form by the end of SEL on Friday.

    • These changes will not go into effect until the beginning of trimester three.

  • The hot lunch option is a corndog with baked beans, smiley fries, and applesauce. The cold lunch option is a Knights salad with a dinner roll and applesauce. Both lunch lines will offer the same options, and lunches are free for all enrolled students. There are no seconds offered at this time.

  • We will be out front for recess today. B Team eats lunch first, and A Team goes to recess first in the lot farthest from the cafeteria using the doors between the 6th and 7th grade pods.

  • Knights Honor is a set of core values that we at MSE share. When students demonstrate Safety, Respect, Honesty, or Citizenship, staff submit their names for Knights’ Honor which enters the student in the Knights Honor weekly drawing. Our winners should come to the office after announcements to pick up their coupon for a free scoop of custard at Culver’s.

5th grader, Molique D. demonstrated Citizenship; Mr. Hilden recognized Molique because he saw another student who had technical difficulties when logging into Kahoot. Without missing a beat, Molique stepped in to help his neighbor get logged into Kahoot. We are so lucky to have Molique at MSE! Keep up the great work!

6th grader, Destiny K. demonstrated Citizenship; Mr. Sartori had this to say about her: Destiny, this is not an easy time to be in

a new school and community. But day

after day you have continued to work

hard and persevere. I am so glad and

proud to have you be part of STMA!!

7th grader, Adam P. demonstrated Citizenship; Mrs. Budion recognized him because Adam is always engaged in the lessons

and asks the best questions!

8th grader, Anastasiya K. demonstrated Citizenship; Mrs. Pack recognized her because Ana always has her camera on when

attending live lessons, which makes

teaching online much more enjoyable. She’s great at participating, too! Thanks, Ana!

Have a great day!
